A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT


Hello! My name is Aline Flores, and studies Pedagogia en educación parvularia and I am in my fourth year.

I really but really want to go to Siena; it is a city what is located in the north of Italy. I want to go to this country because I read a book that it’s called “Juliet” written by Anne Fortier, and this book talk about the “real” history about “Romeo and Juliet”. I love the story about them, not for to be a history of love that lasted a week, no, is more than that, is about culture and history about three families and the power.

This city is very old; Asquio and Sino, sons of Remo, founded about 900 BC. Therefore, the history and the culture is present in that place, in fact, it was declared as a world heritage site in 1995.

If I can travel to Siena, I would visit all the places that the book describe, the palace of Salimbeni, the center of the city, the museum, and another parts.

I just want to visit, no work, live or study there, just visit like a holidays, because is very far about my family and the persons who I loved.

A CAREER-RELATED SUBJECT YOU'VE ENJOYED THIS TERM

First I have to say that I don’t like anyone subject this year, so, I will talk about the last year. Last year I had “Creatividad y expresiones infantiles primer ciclo”. I enjoyed this subject because I really like this topic, I think that the creativity in the childhood is very interesting, and the adults can destroy the creativity of the children’s if they don’t understand the importance of this topic. I learn a lot of things, but I can talk about a really important thing that I learn, you mustn’t draw anything to the children!! Why? Because if you draw something to them, the thing that are you doing is destroyed their creativity. Did you remember when you are in kindergarten and the teacher draw a house? If you ask a lot of persons if they can draw a house, the 80% percentage of the people will draw the same house with the sun, mountains, road, and trees. Why will that happen that? Postgraduate studies

What course I would like to do? My wish is do a master in music therapy or music in the developing in the childhood. Because in my formation I didn’t have subjects about that, so I feel that I had to learn about it. Another reason for study a master in music, it’s because I’m violinist and I want learning more about it. And my thesis is about it.  I want study this in Chile but in this country the master doesn’t exists, so I had to go far away, for example in Spain or maybe in Argentina. So if for any idea of god, exits a distance learning I will be very happy. I am not saying that I don’t want to travel, but, my dream is complement my job, studies and my family. I said family because I want to be mom not very old. Maybe a part time master will be a good idea for complement what I think is important.  I want to do a doctorate in music too, because I want to be an “educadora de parvulos” in the kindergartens system until my 35 years old, because it’s not the same energ...

THE BEST HOLIDAYS EVER

It is hard for me talk about just one holidays, because in my childhood I always had a very special and happy holiday, because in the most of them, I was traveling with my grandmother and my grandfather, and other family members. I remember one of them, in that holidays, we went to beach of Cartagena. I think it was about 2003 -In that time I had five years old- we were there about one moth o maybe more I do not remember very well.   In that year, they were my uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins and my nuclear family (dad, mom, big sister, little brother and me). The house was FULL! The laugh’s was always present in all the day, the only bad thing was that the food was ending very fast, because my cousins had a very big stomach –they are still like that today-.     One day, the climb was not very good, so we cannot go to the beach for swimming, so my parents and my uncles decided go to the beach but just for collect seashells, my grandparents did not go so they lef...
